What&rsquo;s worth noting is that Celsius Network is currently unavailable in the UK, USA or Germany while YouHodler is also offering its services in those markets. If you reside in the U.S. you won&rsquo;t be able to use YouHodler as the platform is not offering its services to U.S. residents at the moment.</p>

<p>Let's compare the rates both platforms are offering.</p>
<h3>Interest Rates</h3>
<p>Celsius offered very competitive rates in the U.S.. Still, their reward scheme was slightly different as Celsius offered additional rewards for users who are staking the CEL token before the platform froze withdrawals and filed for bankruptcy.</p>

<p>On YouHodler, it is much easier to understand which rate you will receive as there is no staking of tokens involved, and everyone gets the same rate regardless of the deposited amount.</p>

<h3>Deposits</h3>
<p>Both platforms, Celsius and YouHodler offer three different ways to deposit crypto. You can transfer crypto directly from your exchange or hardware wallet to your Celsius or YouHodler wallet, buy crypto with a debit card, or make a bank transfer.</p>
<p><strong>Celsius no longer accept deposits as the platform filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.</strong></p>
<p>Remember that the cheapest and fastest way to transfer crypto is to do it directly from your exchange wallet. Any transaction that involves FIAT transfers will add up on cost.</p>

<p>We had tested both crypto lending platforms and have never faced any difficulties withdrawing our deposits (before Celsius froze its accounts). The withdrawals in crypto are processed within a few minutes.</p>
<p><mark>If you are planning to withdraw FIAT, this is only possible on YouHodler, as Celsius does currently not offer an exchange feature. Withdrawing FIAT is always connected to additional withdrawal fees.</mark></p>
<h2>Safety</h2>
<p>You are constantly exposed to certain risks if you deposit your crypto on any centralized platform. Let&rsquo;s look at some of the main criteria you should be aware of.</p>
